Another exciting update about a new stretch goal is coming very soon!
I was having a lovely supper on a patio overlooking the Grand River when a message came in from Hungary. I took one look at the image attached an I will admit I could not wait to run home and update everyone on the next stretch goal. At $7000 a new set of fold flat walls will be available, but these aren’t just any set. The brilliantly talented people at Lord Zsezse Works have really outdone themselves with a fantastic fold flat dungeon wall set that really pushes this game into the next level of print and play tabletop terrain. This set comes with layers galore and FOUR incredible textures of Medieval Underground, Moon, Ice, and Dark themes. This creates an amazing glimpse into what is possible with this game and I must thank my partners at Fat Dragon Games and Lord Zsezse Works for their generosity and hard work helping me with this Kickstarter Campaign. In the tabletop print and play world, they are rock stars! The $8000 stretch goal kicks things into a new level of power with Dwarf Steam-Powered Mecha. Dragon fighting has never been so stylish. There will be a set of four Steam Mecha with colour variations and lots and lots of personalized options. Stay tuned folks, we’re JUST warming up!
It was a rollicking romp for Gygax Day! Using first level Labyrinth Lord characters. Never were there so many healing potions used in one night! There were also a phenomenal number of criticals and fumbles.
The heroes managed to fight off a bunch of goblins, find an old man whose son had been kidnapped by evil cultists, attempt to hide from and then battle a dozen zombie gnomes (!), and then battle the bad guys as they attempted to summon a horrible demon. Did you know that a bugbear is a formidable opponent for first level characters? It’s a fact!
Hey all, I hope everyone enjoyed Gary Gygax day yesterday. I played a game of Save the Day, the superhero version of Darkfast Dungeons that I’m working on. The players, aged 9 - adult loved it. I took play test notes. Also, there is a set of High Elves that are coming soon as part of the Lord Zsezse Works Kickstarter and the stat cards will be part of the Fantasy add-on with this campaign. I can’t wait to use these in Darkfast Dungeons. Let’s get this kickstarter really kicking in these last 10 days! Stretch Goals await!
Some more minis coming soon. High Elves!
Played some Save The Day today. Things got interesting for the Rookies when the local authorities set up a fake security concern for the mayor and caught the heroes. There was a bit of “resisting arrest” in a way, still, the Superior City official super team showed up to back up Inspector Riaz. The Superiors included Catuman, Rock On and Robotronic. It was an interesting match up. The Rookies finally relented and were taken in to the station for “processing”. The whole hero vs hero thing is always a fun comic book trope to play with.
